The room my boys share is conveniently right outside of my bedroom. It was originally intended to be the dining room of our (mobile) home. We closed one wall, and added sliding double doors to other. Since the room didn’t have a closet I put this cute armoire in the room. I wanted something vintage, but wasn’t able to find anything within my budget. This is the view from my bedroom door. Aaron’s outgrown his Moses basket, obviously 🤣 but I use it to store extra blankets.

A few weeks ago Adrian moved into Aaron’s room because he’s the kid who needs a roommate 😉 (he doesn’t like being alone) well Aaron has been thinking he got a new bed!

Aaron’s 18 months and the plan was for him and Adrian to share when he turned 2. We would move him in a “big boy” bed then, but I think now I’m team crib as long as I can get away with it 🤣 Do you move your toddlers earlier or later?

Something about the second born. I’m never in a rush for things with him because I know it happens all too fast 🤍

For over a year I’ve prayed for a way to stay home with my babies, but this whole pandemic wasn’t exactly what I had in mind. And while the situation sucks, and working from home as a teacher is so very hard, I won’t take these precious extra days for granted.

My first memory of Alvaro is from about 10 years ago. His crooked smile first caught my eyes. I couldn’t stop staring. I remember him rolling up a tortilla with the swiftest of skills (corny, I know -see what I did there?) Our story didn’t begin there, but I’ll never forget that day.
